Win Conditions
Every objective within a game must have defined win conditions, the fulfillment of which signifies that the objective has been successfully completed. Increasing the number of conditions will generally raise the difficulty of the objective. Similarly, making the existing conditions more stringent will also contribute to a higher level of challenge.

A minimal amount of effort is required to accomplish the objective.
Examples:
Players are required to collect a small number of coins in order to complete the level.
Players must accumulate a modest amount of experience points to unlock a reward.
A substantial amount of effort is required to accomplish the objective.
Examples:
Players are required to collect a large number of coins to complete the level.
Players must earn a significant quantity of experience points to unlock a reward.
There is no time limit imposed for completing the objective.
A strict time limit is imposed for completing the objective.
The game allows a generous amount of time to complete the task.
Example:
- Players are allotted 60 minutes to destroy the enemy base.
The game allows only a limited amount of time to complete the task.
Example:
- Players are given 30 minutes to destroy the enemy base.
The game demands only a short duration during which the win condition must be maintained.
Examples:
Players must defend a key non-player character for 2 minutes.
Players must keep the stock of wood above 50% for 10 minutes.
Players must maintain first position in a race for 5 minutes.
The game requires players to maintain win conditions over an extended period of time.
Examples:
Players must defend a critical NPC for 5 minutes.
Players must keep the stock of wood above 50% for 20 minutes.
Players must maintain first position in a race for 10 minutes.
Fulfilling the objective requires mastery of only a few gameplay elements.
Examples:
Players must master a few basic moves, attacks, counter-attacks, and combos to win a fight.
Players must learn to use a limited selection of gear to complete the level.
Players must know how to disable a few types of enemy vehicles to win the campaign.
Players must effectively utilize a few abilities and powers to defeat the enemy.
Players must deploy a small set of unit types to overcome their opponent.
Mastery of numerous gameplay elements is necessary to complete the objective.
Examples:
Players must master a wide range of moves, attacks, counter-attacks, and combos to win a fight.
Players must proficiently use a large variety of gear to finish the level.
Players must learn how to disable many types of enemy vehicles to succeed in the campaign.
Players must efficiently employ a broad set of abilities and powers to defeat the enemy.
Players must utilize a wide range of units to overcome their opponent.
There are no additional win conditions.
Example:
Players are not given any additional win conditions; the objectives remain as follows:
Destroy Building A.
Steal a racing car.
Additional win conditions are imposed.
Example:
Players are given an extra win condition; the objectives become as follows:
Destroy Building A within 5 minutes without triggering the alarm.
Steal a racing car without causing any damage to it.
Players have the opportunity to overhear information that may assist with completing the objective.
Example:
- Players can overhear conversations between NPCs, revealing helpful information that may aid in further progress.
Players do not have access to overheard information that may help with the objective.
Example:
- Players cannot overhear NPC conversations containing potentially useful information, which could otherwise assist in progressing through the game.
